Marisa Berglund, BA, LMP, owner of Elemental Massage Therapy

Whether I am providing treatment to someone with an injury or helping someone to relax after a long day of work, I am always rewarded by the fact that I can make a difference in others’ lives.

Massage is truly my passion and I can’t imagine having any other career. I have been practicing massage since 2002 and I was drawn to Hawai’ian Lomi Lomi in 2005. Since then I have studied with several kumu (teacher) healers including an intensive Lomi Lomi training on Hawaii Island. I truly believe that the Hawaiians have a lot to contribute to the healing process. The Hawaiians believe there is a body, mind and spirit connection and this is an integral part of my practice. Whether you have had a physical or emotional trauma, Lomi Lomi is an effective style of body work that can address both bodily and mental injuries. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is a deeply nurturing massage which incorporates long, broad strokes and stretching and allows me to focus on the body as a whole so that my clients feel blissfully relaxed and have a complete sense of wellness for their body and calmness for their mind.

Jennifer Ducharme

Healing is my passion, studying with healers in India and Shaman in Peru. My Great Great Grandfather, being a medicine man for our tribe and using plant medicines, I was naturally drawn to this type of work. I have studied reflexology, aromatherapy, sound and vibration healing, fire cupping, and am a certified Reiki Master using subtle energy to heal which is infused throughout my treatments. Knowing that the power of touch is essential I entered into Still Waters Massage Institute to become a LMP. I love treating clients here at Elemental Massage Therapy and Spa and it brings me great joy to make people feel better. When not working I enjoy time with my 3 children, hiking, yoga, and love to be on the water.

Angel Stewart

I live in Kingston with my daughter and my golden lab Parker. I graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in 2016. My massage has been described as nurturing as well as therapeutic. Sciatica and plantar fasciitis pain have become my specialties, although Pregnancy massage has become my favorite kind of massage to give. I’m also trained in Hot Stone massage, and aromatherapy and soon I will be trained in cupping. It is my firm belief that making time for self-care is important for maintaining overall wellness.

Alyssa Porcaro

I love to learn and promote growth within my clients and myself! Born and raised in the PNW I love to be outside riding my horses, rock crawling, and enjoying all Washington has to offer! I graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Seattle. I’ve been told I have “seasoned hands and firm pressure.” A lot of my work is aimed towards Deep Tissue, as-well as Swedish massage, Injury treatment and Pregnancy massage! Deep Tissue is my strong suit in isolating specific muscles to relieve pain & tension using different techniques! In August I’ll be starting my training in Ashiatsu and look forward to adding another modality! Being the helping hands in creating that positive change in a persons overall health is why I do what I do!
